I have a 15 year old daughter that has runaway. She left on Nov. 20th. The police don't seem to be helping much. I have listed her with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. I don't know what else my family and I can do. Her leaving was very unexpected. We know she is heading to LA from Reno. I am very scared for her because she is in the company of a 14 year old prostitute. She packed a lot of clothes and plans to be gone for two years (according to a note she mailed to a friend). Any help of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

What can I say that I have not already spoken. I am completely blown away. My brother, the cop from North Carolina told how good you were but he truly underestimated your abilities. I thought I would never see my two sons again. Not only did you bring them home safely to me, you kept your promise and brought the couple that took them. To give you an update, they were indicted and subsequently pleaded no contest to the charges of kidnaping, false imprisonment, assault on a minor, reckless endangerment and four other charges. The DA is recommending life sentences for these two scumbags. I hope they get the chair! You will be in my family’s heart forever. My sons keep asking me about you. FYI- The man you arrested for taking our daughter away from us was just convicted on all charges. He was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for what he did to our Katie. She is doing great. She does not remember much of the ordeal and that is good. She seems to be well adjusted at this time and she is back laughing and playing with all her friends. Her school still has the picture of the two of you hanging up in the principals office. The town never stops talking about you. The mayor wants you back to give you the key to the city. He said he wrote you with a formal declaration. My daughter thinks you’re an angel.
